Data Retention Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026
1. Retention During Active Account
We retain your personal data for as long as your account with The Perez Code remains active, and for as long as necessary to provide you with our products and services. This includes account information, purchase history, usage data, communication records, and any other data collected in connection with your use of our ecosystem.
2. Retention After Account Deletion
When you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days of the deletion request, subject to the exceptions below. During this 90-day period, limited data may be retained to facilitate account recovery if requested. After this period, your personal data is permanently deleted or anonymized.
3. Legal Holds and Exceptions
We may retain data beyond the standard retention periods in the following circumstances:
- Legal Obligations: Data required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes (e.g., tax records, subpoenas)
- Dispute Resolution: Data relevant to ongoing disputes, chargebacks, or legal claims
- Fraud Prevention: Data needed for fraud prevention and security purposes
- Contractual Requirements: Data retention required by agreements with payment processors or partners
4. Data Anonymization
Where we retain data for analytical or business purposes beyond the retention period, we will anonymize or aggregate the data so that it can no longer be associated with an identifiable individual. Anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for research, analytics, and business intelligence purposes.
5. Third-Party Data Retention
Data shared with third-party service providers (such as RevenueCat for payment processing) is subject to their respective data retention policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for the retention practices of third parties.
6. Requesting Data Deletion
To request deletion of your personal data, contact us at systems@theperezcode.com. We will process your request in accordance with applicable privacy laws and this policy. Note that deleting your account may result in loss of access to purchased products, memberships, and account history.
