CCPA Statement | The Perez Code

1. Scope

This CCPA Statement applies to residents of the State of California, United States, in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). These provisions describe the rights California residents have regarding their personal information collected by The Perez Code.

2. Information We Collect

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information from California residents:

Identifiers (name, email address, phone number, IP address)
Commercial information (purchase history, product interests)
Internet or electronic network activity (browsing behavior, usage data)
Geolocation data (approximate location from IP address)
Professional or employment-related information (if provided)

We do not sell personal information to third parties as defined under the CCPA.

3. California Consumer Rights

California residents have the following rights under the CCPA:

Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of collection, the business purpose for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share the information
Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., legal obligations, security purposes)
Right to Opt-Out of Sale: Though we do not sell personal information, you have the right to opt out of any future sale of your personal information
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights, including denying services, charging different prices, or providing different quality of service

4. Submitting a Verifiable Request

To exercise your CCPA rights, submit a request to systems@theperezcode.com with "CCPA Request" in the subject line. We will verify your identity before processing your request. Verification may require matching identifying information you provide with information we have on file. We will acknowledge receipt within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 days (extended by up to 45 additional days with notice).

5. Authorized Agent

You may designate an authorized agent to make a CCPA request on your behalf. The authorized agent must provide written authorization signed by you, and we may require you to verify your identity directly with us. The agent must be registered with the California Secretary of State.
